Hard Freeze questions
What is a hard freeze?
A hard freeze is a stretch of temperatures cold enough to kill most seasonal plants, commonly 28 °F or below. The National Weather Service covers it with Freeze Warnings; local offices set the exact criteria.
Is the cold-versus-normal card official?
No. It is computed by PerilRadar from official data and is always labeled MODEL so it is never mistaken for a warning.
